74 Duke brings Parisian theatre to Mayfair. Think honey-toned banquettes, ivory walls, monogrammed cutlery, and dishes that are polished without being fussy: filet de bœuf with beurre maître d’hôtel, poulet in tarragon-Dijon, and a dazzling tarte au citron. The insider’s move? A bubbling Dauphiné ravioli gratin – indulgence at its finest.

Claridge’s Bakery

Claridge’s Bakery brings hotel heritage to Brook’s Mews. Executive baker Richard Hart, famed for his sourdough, returns to London with a line-up of refined British favourites: bloomers, Belgian buns, iced fingers, and tarts fresh from the oven. A future neighbourhood staple.

Mareida

Mareida

A short stroll into Fitzrovia, Mareida introduces elevated Chilean cooking in an art-filled space. Highlights include mussels in charcoal shells, lamb pastel de choclo, and indulgent desserts like hojarasca layered with dulce de leche. With buzzy cocktails and confident energy, it’s a fresh South American perspective for the capital.

Crisp at The Marlborough

CRSIP 0123 1

Crisp Pizza, the Hammersmith cult favourite, lands in Mayfair this year. Expect thin New York-style pies in a speakeasy-style basement, pints poured with The Devonshire’s signature care upstairs, and the same chef-approved following that’s made Crisp a legend.

Shanghai Me

Shanghai Me London

On the 28th floor of the London Hilton, Shanghai Me pairs Doha and Dubai glamour with sweeping views of the capital. Menus mix wagyu dim sum, tuna tataki and black cod with miso, all served in a softly lit Art Deco setting. Lively, glamorous, and already drawing a loyal crowd.

Carbone

New York’s cult Italian-American restaurant has landed in Grosvenor Square, bringing velvet booths, tuxedoed waiters, and red-sauce drama with it. Expect spicy rigatoni vodka, veal parm, and Caesar salads finished tableside, all served with a side of cinematic swagger. It’s theatrical, nostalgic, and perfectly at home in Mayfair.

Lilibet’s

Named for Queen Elizabeth and located on her birthplace street, Lilibet’s is Mayfair’s new seafood star. The room mixes patterned florals with a quiet sense of occasion, anchored by an oyster bar and cocktail terrace. Menus roam from lobster spaghetti to turbot pil pil, with martinis leading at the bar.

A refined take on omakase dining, it features signature dishes like toro tartare and duck tacos alongside new creations for London. Expect subtle theatrics and pristine execution.

Just beyond Mayfair in Kensington, Bottega 35 brings warm Tuscan energy to west London. Think mafaldine tossed in a pecorino wheel, wood-fired ribeye, and tagliolini with shellfish. With table-served tiramisu and easy charm, it’s polished comfort with a generous pour.

Bonheur

Taking over the former Le Gavroche site, Bonheur is the solo debut from Matt Abé after 18 years with Gordon Ramsay. A softly lit, heritage-infused space sets the stage for elegant tasting menus and a six-seat chef’s table. A new chapter for one of London’s most iconic addresses.
