From the warm welcome by the head butler, to the sumptuous food prepared by the award-winning chef, each detail is carefully considered and makes entertaining effortless. The menu is carefully crafted using organic, estate-reared produce from Goodwood Home Farm and is a celebration of seasonal British food.

The decor includes antique furniture from Goodwood House and the Gordon Castle estate, British art, open fireplaces, and roll-top baths, all contributing to a cosy atmosphere. Mattresses filled with wool from the sheep that graze on the estate promise an excellent night’s sleep, as do the hot water bottles placed into each bed by the butler during the winter months.

In the summer, the gardens and courtyard offer guests beautiful al fresco dining alongside the extremely well stocked wine cellar and humidor.

Hound Lodge is a celebration of traditional sports and you'll see nods to the hounds who once lived there, most notably in the kennels still present in the garden. Each room is named after the 'Glorious Twenty-Three' hounds of 1738 and dogs are still warmly welcomed here at no extra cost, alongside 20 guests.
