The enormous east-facing windows provide fantastic views across the valley to Mont Blanc and the perfect setting to entertain on a grand scale with family and friends in the main double height living space. When it’s time to relax, tuck yourself away to watch a movie, detox in the sauna in the original ‘cave’ or watch the stars with a glass of champagne in the Norwegian wood-fired hot tub on the rear terrace.

Even though the materiality is consistent throughout, each bedroom has been designed to have a different look and feel. From a four-person bunk room, to a duplex suite with the original timber spiral staircase, or a loft master bedroom hidden away in the eaves. Every room’s linen sheets provide a cosy place for the perfect night’s sleep.

The short walk to the ‘St Gervais’ ski run takes you down to the base of the Bettex ski lift, where you can explore the enormous ‘Evasion Mont Blanc’ ski area. Alternatively, a short drive takes you to Les Contamines resort or the Mont Blanc Tram cog railway, which trundles its way up to the pass above Les Houches. Later on, after a long days skiing, hiking or cycling, you can wander down into Saint-Gervais for a local brasserie meal or Michelin-starred dining experience.

For those whose legs might be too tired, La Ferme du Cupelin, is even closer and their ‘Promenade au Mont Joly’ menu will give you a wonderful taste of local specialities.
